Yes, well, I like your blogs and feel you are a kindred spirit. I discovered them and you this afternoon at work, when I had to stay late and was looking for lyrics to "Joshua Gone Barbados" and stumbled upon your blogs. I left a comment somewhere but didn't leave any more web traces because I was on a school computer and the atmosphere has been very paranoid there recently, for good reason. So I'm at home now, on a desktop ((ack! uncomfortable! Cat in the way!! Old Mac laptop coming soon from a son!) and just want to say hello. I'm some connection to the Cape, now living in Asheville, NC, and wishing I were retired (just turned 65 and am plotting HOW so that I can enjoy my life more) I'll keep tuned in,. Might even subscribe to your blogs! Best wishes to you! I'll be blogging more if I can fix or replace my camera and get the new/old laptop.

P.S. I'm also a poor typist and can't see too well to correct typos.

Dear JLH,
How well I know the cat in the way problem. Mine seems to hang over half the keyboard. I read your earlier comment on Joshua Gone Barbados and left an answer for you. Your being a Tom Rush fan was more than enough for me to agree we are kindred spirits.

I was lucky to be able to retire early. I do hope you figure a way as being retired is that heaven on Earth I never believed existed before this.

Please drop by again, and I appreciate your taking the time to drop a line.

I am a two fingered typist so typos are my life.
