Out and About On The Day After

That is the house on the corner now hidden by the pile left by the plow.

Not a country road-my street is on the right. 

The mounds are just about sign high. 

Just a bit difficult to check for on-coming cars on the corners. 

The Beaten Path

The path goes just about to the driveway. I started running out of room for places to put the snow.

All this labor made me feel quite accomplished.

My neighbor had the fire department do his driveway last night. He said he thought he smelled a gas leak. Today he had two small piles to shovel and then he leveled off the sides. He said I should consider doing my driveway before it freezes. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

This is a path from the front door. I braved the elements so the dog could go outside. I also broke a window trying to knock down the biggest icicle I have ever seen.

That's the front door, and that's the snow above the front door. It's still snowing!

There is a gate somewhere under that snow. I know I once saw it!

You can just see the two goldfinches at the feeder. The birdbath is almost covered.

I think I'll bypass the gate!

It's a wipeout in the front of the house. You can barely see the fence or the tree.
