Nan, Both came from on-line. I goggled them and went comparison shopping. I think the first prayer flags I ever bought came from ebay, and maybe these did too. They really only last a summer at best before they fray. The Mexican banners are plastic and last a whole summer and more. I leave everything up as long as they last then just replace them the next summer.
They are strung together and each end is long enough for tying around tree trunks.

Where do you get the prayer flags and the banners? And how do you hitch them up? Do they last just the one season? I really love them.
